  For more than 10 years (since moving to Saint Cloud), my husband and I were customers of TCF. We found them conveniently located (e.g., Cash Wise), the hours were generous, and the services and people were always excellent. After my husband passed away, I continued our accounts. I eventually had to close one of them, but when it came time for me to remove his name from the account, there was no problem at all. I've had some severe financial difficulties recently, and they've been helpful, supportive, and understanding. We never considered opening accounts at any bank other than TCF, and I'm glad to tell everyone who asks where I bank. They've always been helpful, kind, and the customer service (including over the telephone) is excellent. I don't know why others have given such poor reviews, but I've never had any of the experiences they've had.
